Q: Why use a laser cutter over plasma or water jet?
Laser cutting machines process sheet metal at higher speeds than water jet without sacrificing edge quality or precision like plasma does.
This allows us to get you the parts you need to spec, in budget, and on time.
Q: Can a laser cut reflective metals?
Yes! Most lasers are unable to cut highly reflective metals, but our fiber optic laser is specifically designed to cut metals like brass, copper, and aluminum.
If you don't see the material you need for your project on our site, contact us, and we would be happy to test it on our machine.
Q: What are the maximum dimensions the laser can cut?
Our maximum sheet size is 60" x120" with maximum part size of 59.75" x 119.75" to ensure your they are cut precisely to spec without using the mill edge.
Q: What are the minimum sizes for holes and profiles?
We recommend a hole or strip size no smaller than the thickness of the material to ensure dimensional precision.
59-3/4"
119-3/4"
Maximum thickness for all materials = .25" (1/4")
Q: What file type is needed for the laser?
The preferred file 2D drawing file types is dwg, but we can also use Adobe Illustrator (ai) files for design oriented projects.
Q: I don't have a CAD drawing, can you create one for me?
Yes! Contact us to work through the design and approval process with one of our draftsmen. We are happy to bring your concept to reality whether you have architectural elevations, inspirational screenshots, or just a napkin sketch and a vision.
Q: Do you offer local delivery in Northern Colorado?
Standard pricing includes pickup at our facility, but depending on project scale, we can schedule deliveries for local customers.
Q: I'm not in Colorado, can you ship to my location?
Yes! We serve clients nationally with a full service shipping department that can palletize or crate oversize products to make sure they get to your facility safely.
